What is the River Uplift or simply the Uplift where no river exists?

The Uplift is a concept which uses the land right along the borderline for a productive use.  Along land besides the border highway in El Paso and Cd Juarez, it is a strip of land that has no structures but is designed as a walking, bicycling, or small powered personal transportation vehicle corridor to nearby economic hubs.

Whereas along open land like Sunland Park NM and Cd Juarez, the Uplift would be a corridor as above with nearby connected economic activity areas.

The principle behind the Uplift is to occupy it constantly which provides its own kind of security.

Is the River Uplift a park?

Yes and No.  See the River Uplift Guide for help also. The River Uplift is the area next to the River Uplift beginning at the Deck.  The Deck technically will only be the area 10 to 20 feet that abuts the river or the Step and this is where technically the federally controlled area is shared with the city.  Behind the glass, metal or other fence or screen beyond this point in the direction of the river may be totally off limits.

But the area beyond the Deck away from the river is the Economic Extension that partly could be used for park space or other.  So it depends on what part of the River Uplift you would be inquiring about.

Is this part of NAFTA?

Commerce on the border has nothing to do with NAFTA.  This is about real estate on both sides of the border which should be developed in a way to sustain economic activity along the border which brings security by occupation.

Aguila Concretus is the spirit eagle describe in Section 307.6.4 as a separate pdf file.  It is the spirit eagle that represents two countries and one spirit.  Each wing represents the colors of each country or that is the USA and Mexico.  If you look carefully of a Bing or Google map of El Paso, you will see that the center line of Aguila Concretus is that line that is the border between El Paso and Cd Juarez but upside down.  Aguila Concretus has also been made the symbol or the representative icon of bordercommerce.com web site which will also be found at other websites such as facebook.com or twitter.com

What is the Border Zoology?

As is Aguila Concretus and others listed at this button, they represent fictional animals or imaginary creatures given Latin names in most case.  Further, they are given an ending name “concretus,” to represent them as a subspecies of concrete animals or creatures.  These “concrete” animals or creatures can only be found along the border.  It is also to help people remember the use of the facility by associating it with some known animal or imaginary creature.  Others will be added.
